As a Product Owner at TMDR my role consisted of:
• Being responsible for applying product positioning for assigned vertical brands, horizontal brands and inventory products across the TMDR business
• Managing the product proposition and roadmap at both a portfolio and brand level and ensure this is accurately and effectively communicated internally and externally
• Ensuring that key clients’ needs are properly identified, scoped and accounted for and evangelise to those clients on new product development
• Ensuring that candidate needs are properly identified, scoped and accounted for on new product development
• Conducting product awareness training for sales teams, both as refreshers and during launch/rollout of new products
• Supporting the directors in driving the strategic and process activity of the TMDR business
• Working with product development to generate new product/new market ideas, develop business cases, and analytically process ideas originating from across the TMDR business
• Evaluating opportunities for development based on client and candidate requirements and competitor activity
• Recognising new market opportunities for the product and maximize usage and revenues by defining, executing and analysing customer (voice of sales) and market research
• Identifying target customer segments and develop compelling value propositions to meet the needs of each segment, working with Marketing
• Planning the launch of new features work with product development to manage the timely launch of new products & product features to the business through personal actions and driving the activity of virtual teams
• Identifying and validate market trends that are creating new market opportunities
• In conjunction with the Head of Product and the Directors, design strategies to capitalise on these opportunities
• Sizing initial opportunities and write proposals on new features, market opportunities and client requests for submission to the Programme Board
